I bought this ammo in order to shoot from the Remington 700 tactical rifle. I made sure there was no steel inside the bullet by using the help of a magnet. The bullet was not able to stick to the magnet. most ranges do not allow bullets with steel cores. I shot this ammo up to 600 yards, and I were able to hit targets with a consistent rate. In terms of price and performance this ammo is an absolute purchase.

Excellent practice ammunition. My Winchester model 88 is a fan too. My FNAR shoots it with no issues. No issues in feeding, extraction, or cycling. I was so impressed with it that I purchased a second case.

Lasers at 250 yards, solid practice for 500 yards. Reliable to the 750 yard mark, but it is a mess at 1000. This isn’t match ammunition however at this price, the issue isn’t the gun or ammo, but the shooter’s and wind reading abilities. It is recommended for 500 yards of shooting with no reservations. You will be satisfied. Chrono comes from remington 700 sps, aac 20″ at 2800 fps. The observed BC 0.440 G1 out to 1000 yards. 0.440 G1 at 1000 yards.

Excellent range of ammo. Clean and well loaded without any issues. There is a slight dust remnants. I shot .460 @ 100 yards with an 308 DPMS Panther. It spread slightly at 200. Excellent choice of “out of the box” ammo.REAT RANGE AMMO…CLEAN, LOADS Well, and without problems and MILD POWDER RESIDUE.

If it is the same lot I bought earlier it comes with an iron jacket that is encased in metallic gilding. It is not allowed to be shot at the Forest Service National Forest in Southern California and many ranges within SoCal won’t allow you to shoot steel jacket ammunition at their ranges. Contact mcclain prior to purchasing it to determine the jacket’s composition. In other words it’s good basic ammo for military that comes in 500-rounds. It’s clean and fires well. I learned something from this ammo. I thought that all steel jacketed ammunition was marked with an black tip. It is evident that this does not include an black tip.
